Use a simple quote form above to inquire about the pricing, and we will reach back to you as soon as we can. We have tried to incorporate most of the important aspects into our quote email, and ask you to read carefully to find answers that might arise. Most of the local moves are performed on an hourly basis, and rates vary depending on a day of the week. Long distance moves, and heavy item moves are performed on a flat-rate basis with a prior visual estimate.
After you receive a verbal or online quote from us, we will ask you to submit the online reservation. Unfortunately, we do not accept phone reservations, in order to avoid mistakes and loss of important details. Please fill out all fields carefully, and double check the date of the move. After that we will email you a reservation confirmation, and an email asking you to confirm that all details are correct. Finally, upon confirming all details we will invoice you a refundable reservation deposit, and schedule your move.
Unless a visual estimate is performed, all local moves are performed on the hourly basis. Many factors influence the length of job: amount and complexity of furniture, proximity of entrances and walking distance, level of protection requested by customer, presence of stairs and elevators, etc. Each move is unique, and unfortunately we cannot predict the length of the job over the telephone. Said that, we will work hard to beat your expectations!
There are several ways to save while moving. If you are flexible with date, inquire from our office about off-peak days in order to qualify for discounted rates. Also, you may consider packing your minor items, and even taking apart the beds prior to movers arrival in order to save on the length of the move. Moreover you may consider gathering your belonging into the room that is closest to the entrance. Finally, consider donating or discarding items, that you are less likely to use in near future.
We are insured in accordance with State of California regulations, but keep in mind that the complimentary insurance is limited to compensation of $0.60 per pound of damaged article. Also, if you refuse proper protection of your valuable furniture with moving pads and plastic wrap, we cannot be liable for scratches that inevitable without such protection. We strongly advise against saving by compromising on a quality of the work. On the other hand, if furniture is not valuable, and already dented, you may specifically request the lead mover not to wrap those pieces.
All of our employees work for us. We do not hire day laborers or temporary employees. We provide vigorous training to new hires in order to improve efficiency and safety, and ultimately customer satisfaction scores. All movers are background screened and routinely undergo voluntary drug and alcohol screening. In addition to essential moving skills, we regularly conduct workshops aimed at prevention of occupational accidents and traumas.
